Coccidiosis - How often do you need to treat?

Just curious - how often does everyone need to treat? I find myself doing it every three or four months due to all the rain the past 8 months. I also treat any new additions to the flock.

In the starter feed, there is a preventative in it. However, on grown birds, I have never had to give it to them. I have had to give it to sheep..but never grown chickens.

Wish I could say the same!!! They seem to pick it up everytime it rains! It evidently lives very well in our soil
