Coccidiosis question

Is ANY amount of blood a sign for treatment? Our hens jist have a very small amount. Is that reason enough for treatment?
And do you change their bedding completely after treatment ends?

They are about 2.5-4months old. We have had them about a month. No other symptoms. Ky

Ok then, it could be coccidiosis. Blood isn't always present but in my experience, it is a good indication of the problem.
Do you have Corid to treat them?
It is also usually accompanied by lethargy and sometimes a disheveled appearance
The best deterrent is to keep the bedding bone dry and feeders full. Dryness keeps coccidia from completing their lifecycle and feed keeps the birds from pecking in the bedding ingesting more oocysts.

They were started on medicated feed when i first got them, they had obvious cocci poos after a week or so, i put them on 5 days of corid, they had been lethargic but improved within the first day of treatment. Then i kept them on a week of the post doseage (roughly 1/2-1/4 dose or what the corid instructions indicated.)
They now are fine but just a tiny speck of blood/mucous here and there. Is that a normal poo or should i have kept after dosing them?

I emptied their bedding and replaced it today with fresh. We keep it turned so they arent walking on poo and their coop is on wheels so its like a small chicken tractor i move every 2-3 days.
