Coccidiosis & The Coop

Hi,

I'm on day 1 for treating my flock (27) for cocci (amprol). I'm wondering if I should clean out the coop now? Or end of the 7 day full course treatment or end of the extended 2 week treatment?

Thanks so much for any help. There is so much conflicting information out there I think my head is going to explode ..

I would pick up any obvious droppings, and make sure their bedding is dry and relatively clean. You can't kill coccidia, but by removing droppings, changing water daily, and keeping feeders and waterers up at should height you can reduce the number of organisms they ingest.
