Coccidiosis treatments for 6 week olds

I have already posted on here about coccidiosis .. I have been advised to give amprollium which I have put in the water but they are already on medicated feed .. there's lots of conflicting reports that both cancel each other out. Is this true? Thanks Meredith

Amprolium is in the feed, and amprolium is in Corid. So, no, being the same thing, they do not somehow cancel each other. The amprolium in the medicated starter is so low as to be negligible. The only thing that can cancel out the effectiveness of the Corid is thiamine (B-1). So withhold vitamins during the treatment.
