I have 4 baby chicks not even a week old yet that are eating, drinking and running around. The only thing is they have diarrhea. Is this normal? Should I treat them for coccidiosis? The poo doesn’t seem bloody to me.

The one chick I have seen do it has done it threw out the day. It’s had to catch. But the poo in the pool I have them in seems to be normal with some random diarrhea spots. I gave them electrolytes in there water and it seems to have help with the diarrhea.?

Some chicks (and chickens) just seem to have runnier poop than others, so that alone isn't a problem.

I'd look at their behavior - are they all active, eating well, running around, growing? If yes, then I'd wager they're fine. If they were mine I'd just continue to keep an eye on them and be ready to act if needed. However, if you're on the fence, better to treat them with Corid than to not, as the Corid won't hurt them if used as directed, but coccidiosis can kill fast if they do have it.
