What is the "natural coccidiostat" - what's it called?

If you are asking about Amprolium/Amprol that is used in most medicated chick starters - there is no egg or meat withdrawal. Amprolium is a Thiamine blocker that mimics vitamin B1 and starves the Coccidia to help prevent overload - this allows the chick to build resistance.

As for curing a chicken that has a Coccidiosis overload, with medicated feed that contains Amprolium- the feed does not have enough medication if you have an outbreak. If you have a coccidiosis overload you need to treat with a severe outbreak dose of Corid.
You can find this in most feed stores like Tractor Supply.

Dosage as follows:1 1/2 teaspoons Corid powder or 2 teaspoons of 9.6% Corid liquid per gallon of water.
Give for 5-7 days - make sure this is the ONLY water available during that time period. Mix a fresh batch at least once a day.

I am sure that it contains oregano. Oregano kills coccidia.
The label says "natural and ecological coccidiostats".

Can you post a photo of the label? I don't believe I have ever seen this on commercial poultry feed.

There is ongoing research for using natural products in feed for prevention, some of it looks promising. But I think for an actual outbreak, medication will still be necessary. Obviously, if successful prevention is easier to accomplish, much less treatment would be necessary. How long it takes for these kinds of feeds to be widely available is another thing.

If I were you and I had an outbreak of coccidiosis I would not trust a natural anything to cure it.
If natural stuff did actually work than don't you think large factory farms would be using it?

And if you have an outbreak now be prepared to have future birds come down with an out break too.

Being prepare and having Corid on hand can save lives.
