Coccidious...treating since Sunday, they are still dying... :(

Hopefully all worms passed and intestinal lining is being repaired. With exceptionally high worm burdens you can get extensive scarring that causes long-term problems for processing food.

No worms. Poo is more solid. I did notice quite a few are shaking theirs heads a lot, like a dog does when they have an ear infection...so I just looked that up on BYC and its mice, lice, or gapeworm -- I just can't seem to win! What do I do for that?

I don't think its gapeworm, I read the symptoms, none of them are gasping or breathing with open beaks. They just shake their heads a lot.

I have DE, what else should I get from TSC for mites or lice? There are so many confusing posts on this subject. I feel like the worst chicken keeper ever...

Head shaking could also be an indication of an upper respiratory infection. Could you post a video showing birds. Movement is informative. Also consider for short-term feeding them only one type of feed, ideally one that is formulated for chickens.

Watch when I go inside, the Rhode Island Red...it was hard to single one out to get a good video...

thanks Kathy, I didn't see any, but the poo is definitely more held together today.
