Wow, this isn't the first time we have had baby chicks .... it is the third but this is the first time we have had so many.
I didn't think too much of the waterey looking poo but a couple of the poos have a small looking stain the color of a tomatoe in it (really small). Wondering if this is coccidosis?
Chicks are just under two weeks old. Acting, eating, drinking, sleeping normally. Feeding chick starter crumbles from feed store. The same chicks who poo the waterey stuff also have the normal kinds of poos too (at least I think so ..... they have the brown smelly kind and the firm green/brown kind with the little white spot).
Larger brooder has 10 chicks in it smaller has 5. Not overcrowded.
Does anyone have pictures of what the coccidosis poo looks like - I know that's gross to ask for but would help me a good bit?
