Also, my flock is treated with vitamins ADE -aquososum twice in 5 month. Once they got inside parasite treatment. I use also DE and wood ash. Chickens vents, necks and wings i also checking evry month.

Very good to know, thank you! While my flock does have CRD, that probably explains why my Fav cross presents worse than my other chickens and her overall health, which is good, would indicate.

I have to do this too, because its so cold and i dont have a place to wash my faverolle putt anymore.I have a Faverolle cross with chronic respiratory disease, she is a heavy weight and a lazy pooper. I periodically trim the feathers around her vent and changed feed from 16% protein to 20%. I also have cut back on her treats. It has definitely helped keep her poops more solid and her rear end much cleaner.
