Also, my flock is treated with vitamins ADE -aquososum twice in 5 month. Once they got inside parasite treatment. I use also DE and wood ash. Chickens vents, necks and wings i also checking evry month.

Very good to know, thank you! While my flock does have CRD, that probably explains why my Fav cross presents worse than my other chickens and her overall health, which is good, would indicate.

I have a Faverolle cross with chronic respiratory disease, she is a heavy weight and a lazy pooper. I periodically trim the feathers around her vent and changed feed from 16% protein to 20%. I also have cut back on her treats. It has definitely helped keep her poops more solid and her rear end much cleaner.

I promise to put some pictures of this faverolle cockerel in here. He is now 21 weeks old. I dont know hes weight, but the roosterbar up of him, is 14,5 in high
Obviously he is overweight. There is 3 roostbars and he sleeps always on the highest one. But he have to straggle to get in there. Besides this cockerel is lazy, he refuses to drink from waterer with nipples. All other flock lerned to drink in one day. It´s not useful to me, i have to put some fresh water every day individually from him. Today was funny, he showed to me dancesteps. I was suprised and little a bit afraid, thinking, that he wants to attack me. It´s seems to be normal behavior.

Him showing you the dance steps is a display of dominance. (If he is dancing around you) You need to try to nip that behavior. You can't be afraid of him, he will know it.

Now...about his rear, if it stays messy, you may need to trim a bit of fluff from his vent area, that may help him stay cleaner.
