Cochin Bantam? Color? Silver laced?

I got this guy for 3 bucks. He is real sweet. I believe hes a cochin bantam. But is he Silver laced? Very poor silver laced?

Yes, he's supposed to be Silver Laced. His color is way off, but that happens a lot with chickens from hatcheries, especially laced ones, it seems.

heres another pic. I think hes a hatchery cochin bantam. His color and body shape isnt the greatest. But he is very sweet and makes a good pet

he sure does have silver laced in him (cochin yes)...is he out in the sun a lot and is that coloring in the first pic only on parts of the feathers that sun can reach or do you give a lot of corn? if so then that maybe were the color is coming from and if not then i say he has a brown or gold coloring mixed in him as well.

Thats what threw me off as well, was the gold color in the first pic, and something about that lacing just don't seem right

This is a hatchery bird, your not going to get a nicely laced bird from any hatchery, and if you do its VERY rare. This is a full blooded bird, just doesnt have great type or color, which is usually the case with any hatchery birds.
