We raise cochin bantams in 4 pens. Pen 1: BBS. No eggs currently available as we are hatching this years out still from this pen as we get the least amount of eggs from it with way fewer birds.
2: mottled. A blue/split to chocolate and a Chocolate mottled roo over Chocolate mottled hens.
3: Chocolate splash roo and a Chocolate roo over Chocolate, black and mauve hens.
4: porcelain/Mille. A Mille roo and porcelain roo over Mille and porcelain hens.
We do have another "party" pen. It has silver laced roo and hens, chocolate, blue and black hens. We are building another pen for the silver laced.
Every pen has at least 1 frizzled hen so they all have the chance of frizzle chicks.
They are 75 a dozen shipped

I’m considering getting some bantam Cochins but have heard they can be a bit more high maintenance. What is your experience?

@Cfox3 I have a few bantam Cochins. They are pretty much the same as regular chickens in my experience. Just remember that they are a lot smaller and are more prone to being caught
