Cochin bantam laying rate

I was reading the other day about breeds of chickens (even though I have had my cochin bantam over a year) I still like to read about it, maybe I will find out something new.

one I was reading which was from a hatchery said Cochin bantam are not good layers, about 2-3 eggs a week.
I don't find this true in my lady, she lays every single day without missing a day I swear she lays 2 a day, (don't think that is possible but it seems like it)
Anyone else Cochin lay on a regular basis? I am wondering if i just have a star layer or it is one of those things that sometimes people don't know what they are talking about lol

Mine? Stink. They'll lay every day—for about a week and a half. And then they'll set on them. And for about nine weeks afterwards, they won't lay anything. Then the cycle begins again.

For the one I had that didn't go broody, 2-3 a week sounds about right. (It wasn't like I counted.)

Mine was great until she went broody this spring. An egg every day. But since she went broody she’s not laid a single egg. Not even when she took a break.

oh mine is so broody, I am lucky she isn't mean when she goes broody but I feel bad watching her wait for her eggs to stop disappearing (cuz I take them) or waiting for them to hatch. I could always ask my neighbor for one of her fertilized eggs and give it to her, she doesn't care whose eggs they are

Mine will sit on a empty nest. She will steal eggs and chicks from other too.
