Cochin bantam rooster

I have a rooster which seems that he cant crow properly he tries but the sound he emits is husky like person with asthma. He's eating and drinking normally from what I can see. What could be the problem?

Actually im not too sure ive hear him him crowing properly before however. He's only been doing this for a day can they get sore throats as such?

Yes, I've heard of roosters getting sore throats, I would just leave it for a while and see if it gets better, if he is behaving normally then it's probably nothing to worry about
