Cochin bantams 150 eggs good or bad?

I'm thinking about purchasing some cochin banams and te seller has told me that the hens laid 150 eggs each last year. Is that good for a cochin bantam. My last one was laying 5 a week. However she only alid for about 9 weeks then she was killed by a dog.

So i don't know if she would have laid for a long time and hence then been over 150.

Any help would be much appreciated.
