Hello! I have 6 cochins, including 2 frizzle, and I would like a second opinion on their genders. They are 7 weeks old, and very friendly. I would also like to know what color/pattern they are considered.
Chick 1: pullet?

Thanks all!

Chick 1 looks like a pullet, but at this age those wattles and comb shouldn't have that much red. I almost want to say slow developing cockerel. Just keep an eye on that one. If that comb and those wattles get bigger/more red in the next two weeks - you have a cockerel.

Chick 2: Red pullet

Chick 3: Hatchery quality silver laced pullet

Chick 4: Hatchery quality silver laced cockerel

Chick 5: Black frizzled cockerel

Chick 6: Blue frizzled cockerel

Thanks! I'm still on the fence about chick #1 also. I was thinking roo up until a few weeks ago because the comb and waddles developed and turned red early, but it hasn't developed at all since then. It'll just take more time to be sure:idunno
