. I hate it... Still have a few that are working on their own to hatch so keeping my fingers crossed

I hesitated in peeling him all at once... Thought giving him a break would be less stress on him but guess I killed him

You didn't kill him. When assisting I always peel a little then moisten and give them a break for 1-2 hours, then go back and peel a little more then moisten and give them a break again. I do this for as long as it takes, if I see blood while peeling I stop, moisten and take a break, sometimes it takes all day to get one out.

Is there a face-on pic showing the comb area in particular?

agreed you probably didn't kill him. Many wrong enders end up dying or having big issues with their bodies due to malpositioning.

Thanks Kev didn't know that about the comb. One yellow chick had a mini com and the one I pictured had two bumps figure a comb too.

DylansMom.. that's what I was trying to do but guess he was not strong enough .. Even got up last night checking them a couple times. Thought he was doing well this morning but...

Ok 4 more left and 3 are about zipped out... Cross your fingers they make it... Thinking the fourth gave up??
