Started last week she started sitting in the corner of the coop and not getting up. Brought her in the house she is eating well grapes, layer pellets bananas and she is drinking water and some milk. She looks healthy she just can't walk. She can move her feet but she will not grip my finger. She is also using her wings to move around. Great docile bird hoping she gets better. Has anyone had any luck with this sort of thing?

I hope she gets better. I would post this in the emergencies and diseases section because you will get more advice.

Sorry about your hen but I agree with Pinky. Good luck.

I had a cochin hen with the same symptoms a couple of years ago. She started off the same way and slowly succumbed to paralysis. First, her legs, then her wings, then her neck. I posted a thread about her.. lemme see if I can find it. many thought it was some sort of toxin (could've ate something bad in the compost pile) so I did the epsom salt flush. She seemed to improve a bit but, after two weeks of syringe feeding and watering, and taking another bad turn, I culled her.

Another possiblity is a vitamin deficiency... try googling that and see if anything rings a bell

Good Luck
