Cochin, Maran or a cross?

Bought this one from TSC and it was in the bin with Silver Laced Wyandottes. Definitely NOT an SLW.

Cochins have yellow feet and legs, so I'd go with the Marans.

I didn’t realize Marans had feathered feet.

Yep, looks like a black copper Marans. The breed standard calls for feathered feet, but there are a lot of Marans that don’t have that. They are supposed to.

Not all of them do, but "French" Marans do. "English" Marans were bred to have clean legs.
