    Hello all,

We just recently traded our Partridge Rock rooster for this handsome little cochin rooster, but I forgot to ask what breed he was. Anybody out there want to chime in?

This guy looks like a silkie/cochin cross to me, possibly with the silkie back a generation or two.

    I agree.

Because of his coloring, I might also think that he could have some Light Brahma in him.

What makes you think he has Silkie in him? I see a Columbian Cochin, or possibly Blue Columbian (if there is such a variety with Cochins).

Thank you both so much! After looking at pictures of light brahma cochins, I agree with you. Not that it matters, we love Mr. Bean. That's what the kids named him, it's short for vanilla bean.

I'm seeing five toes and a residual crest. Plus just the shape isn't the rounded basketball shape of a cochin.
