Cochin vs heat

My Cochin is panting even when she's in the shade. Any tricks to keep her cool?

Give her cold water and frozen fruits for treats.
If that doesn't seem to help much you could try running a fan on/in the coop or run.

Is she healthy? Our Cochins pop all over the yard, even when it's hot and humid outside.

chicky_mommy, thanks for the advice! I'll give her some frozen corn- she loves corn! and I've frozen a bag of water to put in her coop too, though all my chickens free-range during the day.
