Cochin with pea comb?

What I meant is--if those wattles are so small because of the pea comb gene, then she must have a pea comb.

If it is normal for cochins (or some similar chicken) to have small wattles, then she could have any kind of comb and still have wattles that small.

If it doesn't look like a pea comb then it's not a pea comb.

It looks like a pea comb to me, albeit not a pure pea comb. That looks like a small row of 'peas' on the side, there.

Just for clarity, I've circled them here:

Editing to add, the other side of the comb has them, too, if you look closely:

Sorry for the ketchup-and-mustardy colors, there. :P The red didn't show up well in that second picture.

Since it doesn't look like a normal pea comb OR a normal single comb, then I was trying to figure out whether the birds' wattle size could help us know what genes she's got, which might help figure out her ancestry--which I think was the original question.

Thanks for that--I'd missed seeing those little "peas"!

Here's another picture of her comb. She definitely has 3 rows though they're not as defined as my Light Brahma or my EEs.
