I didnt even think Maran as it looks so different from my other Maran! So much more feathering on the legs... my Midnight Maran has two sorry little feathers on each leg that is barely noticeable it almost looks like fuzz!

Midnight Marans aren't pure Marans. They are Marans hybrids bred by the hatchery for better egg production. If I had to venture a guess Midnight Marans have some Australorp in them.
