I have eight Cochin bantam hens and a rooster. I have a half wall in my coop and then wire from the half wall up to the roof that separates my Cochin bantams from my Road Island Red girls. Some of my Cochin bantam girls are nosy, and i see them fly up and sit on the half wall to see what my RIR girls are up to and the half wall is about 5 feet. I'm sure they would fly higher if they could. I have to scrap the half wall from poops with a scraper when I clean the coop. Nice Chickens! Roosters are nice too!
