He is not trying to confirm he is alpha to them. He trys to kill them. Drakes will kill ducklings so that he can sire more ducklings with the hen. I will not tolerate any fighting amongst my ducks.

Since they are all the same size they manly just grab each other and then stop fighting in 5-10 min then are sleeping together

They are all females. The main reason he is doing this is because he did not sire these ducklings. The previous two ducklings I had, which were my hen ducks, were both drakes and my older drake had no problem whatsoever with them. Yes, I know. I’m saying when the females are adults and sexually mature for breeding. Are you ready for incubation though? Most Pekins don’t sit on there own eggs. By most I mean like 85-90%. My Pekins never did sadly.
