What's an Americauna?

I cringed too.
At least orps have good spelling.Your Orpingtons, your never nice.
WOW she's able to just go and get bantams like THAT?! lucky!
I wish I had that much space!
And we are speaking up for all orp breeds
@OneHappyRoosterWell I'm very good at networking so I made sure to ingratiate myself with all the quality breeders in the area when I got back into poultry after a fifteen year hiatus.
It is both a blessing and a curse.
Orpington is the breed. The colors are varieties.
Also why are Orpingtons, a variety developed in Europe, allied with so many American breeds. Like Australorps would make sense as they were developed from Orpingtons and are also Australian. Sussex are also acceptable as they were developed in Europe. At least be snooty and say Exhibition Rhode Island Reds, Plymouth Rocks, and Delawares. I'd say Faverolles could be an ally, but they have feathered feet and I'm pretty sure Team Chokem has them. This is why d'Anvers are acceptable...

But d'Uccles are not. lol I say Barnevelders, clean-legged UK-type Marans (none of that French feathered-leg business), Welsummers, Australorps, Orloffs (since Team Chokem has muffs and beards with the addition of Ameraucanas), and possibly Javas, could be on Team Orpington (AKA "The Winners") but that's only if we truly require allies.
Who takes Barnyard mixes?
