I let my rooster out for one day and he gets into a fence fight :hmm I cleaned off his beard and muffs, or what’s left of it. So he looks a little worse than he actually is. Thanks a log Orpington.

I'll think about it.... not making any hasty decisions.... do the Orp'ers dislike Silkies?
I thought silkies looked weird (still do), but after having a couple, I must admit they are awesome. (Technically they are my DD's birds.) They are both endearing and annoying, because they are constantly underfoot and whine to be picked up/ cuddled.

That's not how that works. If you let him out and the Lavender Orpington was penned then the Orpington didn't start the fight, the other male did. So he actually went out of his way to aggravate the Orpington in order for them to get into an argument.
