Apples and oranges guys I’m hands down a LF Cochin girl, but ours lay quite well compare to some I have heard of and have the absolute nicest personalities. I have some project lavender Cochins that are almost more like a cross between Cochins and the Orpingtons and I see the draw, but I’ll stick with my beautiful girls. They keep their feathered feet surprisingly clean, even after kicking it in the mud. They aren’t prone to obesity in the least in my experience - I’ve had Faverolles and Marans chunk up much more. They’re all fluff

How many eggs?

Ah, yes. Bantams! But then the eggs are tiny.

The only purpose would be cuddles, which I can get from my awesome little EE all day every day!

My bantam Cochin lays 5-6 days a week..... except when she goes broody.

5-6 days a week is not bad at all.

And her eggs are still about 3/4 the size of a normal sized egg
