Not bad at all!My bantam Cochin lays 5-6 days a week..... except when she goes broody.
5-6 days a week is not bad at all.
And her eggs are still about 3/4 the size of a normal sized egg![]()

No, Lad told me the fluffy cochin chick she saw was scary. They met them in the hatchery! They’ve probably never told you but they just love Cochins.
Yeah, that "broody" clause makes a HUGE difference. My bantam Cochin lays 5-6 days a week..... except when she goes broody.
Haha I think you misheard she said She wanted to "marry" not "It was Scary"No, Lad told me the fluffy cochin chick she saw was scary.
My bantam Cochin is only 8 months but has gone broody three timesYeah, that "broody" clause makes a HUGE difference.
Cookie (my bantam orp) is the same. When she was younger egg production was practically daily..... but one year she went broody 5 times! (Mostly because she was stubborn and when I broke her, she just went broody a month later. )
Now she's 6.5 years old, so I'd rather just have her around as the flock mama and queen broody.
That’s fine but delete O = CO = C
I currently like them equally
