I also want to say here that it feels like EVERYONE in the Maritimes wants or has Orpingtons, and in comparison relatively few have Cochins. I love underdogs - ‘nuff said

I’m heading to bed, but tomorrow I’ll have to dig up a photo of my perfect little project lavender Cochin (with Orpington roots), which begs the question - why don’t more people have this cross?
