That comb has been red since she was 18 weeks old. Now she’s 30. Every time I post a picture of her someone says COCKEREL! Now I’m glad I have a squatting picture to deny that

I certainly hope I don’t have to wait a year. I have two other pullets not laying and both look like their taking their sweet time

She should be getting close -- red combs and wattles, along with squatting, are signs that she's getting close to laying.

Thanks! I’m just very impatient because my past experience happened to be with BRs and SSs, who all laid around week 20-25.
