Cochins?

are these all the correct breeds of Cochin? Ideal only sent me 15 instead of 18 so i am trying to figure out who is who. There should be a birches, mottled, 2 white frizzled and a blue (which I don’t see).

very cute chicks! very top looks like white and buff Cochin. the next photo is probably a black Cochin. are chick 4 and 5 the same chick?

The chick with the white head with black spot (last pic) is mottled. The black chick is probably your blue cochin as they can hatch black blue or splash.

No they are different, chick 5 is most likely my mottled, chick 4 my birches and chick 3 my blue, which I see a little blue.

I am not sure if mine is mottled or not, but he might possibly be so here is one as a chick and one of a more recent.
Someone told me he or she might possibly be mottled.
Its hard to tell with lighting of pictures sometimes so thats probably why others are having trouble.

I dont know if this will help or not.

(Sorry, not the best pictures. I didnt document their growth as much as I wish I did. I was told these little guys were all silkies but as the grew I realized hey wait a minute!)

All chicks pictured are bantam Cochins.

The first is the white frizzle with a buff or red chick.

2nd pic is the birchen.

3rd is your blue chick.

4th is a mottled chick.


The second poster, that does look like it could be a mottled. Usually mottled chicks have white on their face.

Yep I already knew but was confused about the first two because I ordered 2 white frizzles, it turned out one was a frizzle and the buff looking one was a go,d neck d’uccle that was a mistake!
I actually have the birchen for sale he turned out to be a cockerel and 3 other cockerels
