Hey Guys Thanks! I think the Mille Fleur Cochin's are so beautiful
Voltaire is out of eggs from Ralph . I hatched four chicks, two Mille's , two buff.
Bantyman is that you Mike? If that's you I have a pair of your gems too. My plan is to cross these two lines(Ralph'sXMike's) and see if I get the color and type even better.
I doubt if I will have eggs available this spring as I only have four Mille color adults . I have eight chicks already from Voltaire ( pictured) and his pullet . Five are showing they are cockerels.The three pullets are colored like a Mille d'Uccle chick , dark gold with black markings so I am excited to see what they turn out to be.

She looks good. The first thing I noticed is her way better than average "pants" being as most of them at this point have pronounced vulture hocks. Her markings are pretty good too for her age. You should do well. Crossing my fingers for high fertility. My roo was a little slow at the gymnastics part of it. Took him a couple of months to figure it out, but he has his routine down pat now... You will have to post pix of chix!!! Stay in touch and post a LOT, okay?
