When I came home today my wife informed me she was awaken at noon (works nights) by the sound of a rooster crowing, this from our cage full of hens.

I've had questions about the sex of this one particular chicken and was wondering do hens make this sound?

I have no experience with this myself but I have heard that sometimes a hen will crow. But really..if I ever heard one of my chickens crow I would pretty much assume that means she is a he
