hi and welcome, where i am from we still call you "down" state

, i live 30 miles south of syracuse. just bulit a coop, for my 20 chickens, check out my photos, i will be glad to help if you have questions.

On an acre of property in Highland, NY the town would technically not allow you to raise chickens unless you know something I do not. I am hoping we can fight this ordinance because I also want to raise chickens in Highland

I know this thread is acouple months old, but i am from Highland aswell. I know lots of people in Highland who have chickens on way less then an acre of land. I have an acre and about 10+ chickens . Never had a problem with the town..or known of anyone who has.. But then again i live near a 300 acre hunting preserve..so i dont have many people by me.
