Cockadoodledoo?

We have a 5-6 week old RI Red... we think it might be a rooster? At about what age do you think we will know... by that i mean cockadoodledoo!

I don't know. My RIR had red wattles and comb since 5 weeks of age. He/she is 10-11 weeks and I have no clue. I'm leaning towards pullet for mine and developed early. Time will tell. I guess most start crowing at 5 months of age. I'm waiting until a crow or egg to decided if I need to rehome. I worked very hard to tame this very skittish chick and now he/she is a sweetheart.

You can start telling sexes at about 10 weeks, sometimes younger or older.
