I am so very sorry! (((((((HUGS))))) Some do lay like that, way too much. I know if you ever get another like that, and she lays too much, talk to your vet about lupron injections. One should keep her off laying. There are pros and cons.


I'm so very sorry. It might be she had another health issue unrelated to the egg laying, or she had an egg rupture and got sick. But if she was acting fine up to that point, my gues would be anotehr health problem like a heart conditon or even an aneurysm. My heart goes out to you and your budgie and child, (((((((((HUGS))))))
