Cockatiels and Boyfriend who doesnt like them

I appreciate all the advice! Your ideas have given me some different ways to think about the situation. I do not intend to give up my animals, but I do love the man. I'm hopeful we can agree on some actions.

I don't think it's fair to call the guy a jerk (or worse). People have different attitudes toward animals and thats ok. It does call for some realism about the future of your relationship. That sort of thing doesn't go away but rather magnifies over time.
