Cockatiels's fertile eggs

Hi everyone. I've read somewhere that the birds will be capable of laying fertile eggs for several days, after a single mating. Is it true? Does anyone know anything about it? Is it the same for cockatiels?

Sperm remains viable in the reproductive tract of females of all species for varying periods of time. With birds it is generally longer than with mammals - up to some fertility even after 3 or 4 weeks from mating.

I actually heard that this isn't true for parrots is why they mate every day but Doing experiments of my own they can stay fertile for weeks after mating Ive tried it with budgies
