does anyone know?any cockerspaniel breeders on the east coast?
Don't know of any, but I love finding breeders/dogs for people. If you let me know what you are looking for, price range, mile radius, ect. I could probably find a couple of breeders for you to check out!
Try this link for a list of breeders:
sorry, mine both came from the west coast (both retired show dogs) and that breeder does not have any litters planned.
If you can get your hands on a copy of Cocker Classic magazine, that is where most of the breeders advertise.
Look on the AKC website, they'll have a full listing of breeders in your area with dogs available.
i looked there they have none in virginia
Just listings I got out of a directory, I have no personal knowledge of any of these breeders.
Here is a link to the american cocker club of america. There is a list of all the states, and breeders for each state. These are GOOD breeders who breed for quality dogs. Do not go through the AKC website. Any breeder can buy space on there, and AKC does not look into how nice of dogs they are breeding. AKC doesn't always mean a good quality dog. Look for someone who is doing a lot of health testing. Cockers are extremely prone to allergies, finding yourself a good breeder will save you a lot of money and heartache in the long run by not having to deal with health problems.
