This is a 20 week old F2 Olive Egger. Thoughts on gender?? I have 1 other OE. They are roughly the same size, same age, just different shaped tails and bodies. The other OE is just not developing fleshy pink waddles/comb.
The other 3(different breeds) I got with this one are all about the same size, same age, just different body shapes. If you need more pics just let me know. These waddles ha e been a thing since about 12 weeks.

At 20 weeks it just looks like she's closer to POL. She's got female feather coloring. But you say the wattles were that big at 12 weeks? It would be good to get a full body pic from the side too just to be sure.

I did do a little research about how the females will have a toupee & males have a mullet and usually a whit patch somewhere on their head. Neither of them have whit on their heads or any rust on the body other than their breat area. I am not sure HOW reliable that is though.

I have an OE just like her, whose mom was CCL and the Roo a RIR...but she has some white feathers behind her Legbar Crest. Often hybrids don't have reliable head feather colors. Folks mistake genders on Barred Rocks from the white patch on their head also (male white patch is less distinct and tends to trail down the back of the head), Hope she crouches for you (independent breeds might just run away til you brainwash them with treats) and lays pretty eggs soon!

Turns out, it was a pullet. I saw her squat & drop an egg in the run and go back to regularly scheduled chicken business. Needless to say, that comb has gotten massive.
