Cockerel Claws can these be cut or filed or made less sharp ??

My cockerel is really treading the hens and his claws are really sharp is there a way I can make them less sharp ? dog nail cutters ? file them ?

You can carefully trim his nails with a dog toenail trimmer. Just do it very carefully and stop if you see any sign of pinkness or blood.
