Cockerel in a Pullet Pile

I did some interior redecorating in Neuchickenstein today, taking the integration pen out and rearranging juvenile roosts. Ludwig, the 6-month-old Black Langshan cockerel, had been sleeping on the roof of the integration pen so tonight he and the pullets who'd been there with him had to figure out a different option.

They apparently all tried to sleep in the same spot on the main roost.

Ludwig is quite photogenic.

He seems perfectly happy sitting there surrounded by girls!

He doesn't quite know what to do with them yet, but he does attract the pullets.
