Cockerel just ate foam

My goofy Cinnamon Queen cockerel just ate a piece of weather stripping that was about two inches long. I saw him do it, and couldn’t get to him fast enough to get it away from him. Will he be able to pass this?

How old is the goofy fella? Any photos of him

Likely it will pass through no problems, the gizzard is powerful and grinds things up very well. Do you have grit available free choice?

Chickens for some reason LOVE foam and insulation. Mine have eaten foam insulation without problems. It's not really good for them, so I do my best to make sure they don't have access. They also will snatch up anything that you might drop - yep, goofy
