Cockerel or Pullet Barred Rock

I got this chicken from a swap advertised as a hen. It was born in early December. So far I haven’t heard any crowing, but her tail feathers are looking very full. I also think I see some tiny saddle feathers coming in (maybe like an inch long?). I was also told after the fact that barred rock roosters are much lighter than the hens, and this one is closer to grey than black. Please let me know your thoughts.
