Cockerel or pullet Plymouth rock ?? Help!

I have this 4 going on 5 month old barred rock chicken and thought was a hen until it doubled in size compared to my 2 week older Rhode Island Red hen and was heard trying to crow now in last month . Its feathers are getting pointed on the tail but everyone I know is insisting it’s a hen still. It only had tried to crow a few times in last month . I’m still thinking it looks like a roo no questions but I’ve read many people thinking they had roosters but then it would start to lay . Anyone can help us confirm it’s gender? Birthdate 09/02

I think it's a little cockreal based on it's neck and tail feathers, but I have a blog post on my website that may be more of a detailed help. Whatever the gender, I LOVE the feather coloring!

The barring looks like a boy. Can you get pictures of the feathers around the neck and at the base of the tail?
