This pretty/handsome Cochin is 22 weeks old. It’s flock mates (all the same age) are crowing and have serious hackels and saddles. Albeit they are cream leg bars. And I’ve heard that Cochin mature MUCH slower than many other breeds. My main reason for thinking this may be a cockerel as well is the color of its comb and wattles. What say you?

Thank you all for your input. I’m much more happy now. I was thinking this beauty was going to have to find a new home. I’m glad she will actually be a nice addition to my ever growing hen population. Darn that chicken math! LOL

I currently have another, but she’s pure white, Cochin hen that I love dearly. Her name is Big Momma. I will need a new name for this blue beauty. I currently call her Junior. I need a name more fitted for a “pullet”. ❤️ (That’s my happy dance)
