Cockerel or pullet

why is it so hard to tell? Need help to get this chick in a coop. Been told by several people it is a cockerel others say pullet. It’s six weeks today

Does dad have feathered legs?

I would give this one some more time before deciding. There's no comb color yet, but that pea comb has 3 rows that could potentially mean male.

I'd say pullet, but what difference does it make in where it lives? You separating your genders or something?
