cockerel or pullet?

6 and a half week plus white created blue polish. Wondering on gender.

It’s beak is a bit deformed it came a runt from a hatchery but still eat and drinks and holds in place in the pecking order.

His crest isn't done coming in yet, it will still get longer.... So judging THAT right now is not accurate really. The gals keep a bob type cut while the boys rock more of a wild mullet. He won't get pointy saddle and hackle feathers usually until close to 12 weeks.

Your second one appears to be a pullet still. See NO red wattles yet in addition to the size difference of them. Sometimes you might get a very late blooming boy though... So before certain ages... it's still usually good to be on the look out for SUDDEN rapid changes.
