I'm questioning the gender of the young chicken. Mom is barred rock and dad is white Brahma. The other darker barred rock is much smaller.

He’s a cockerel. Do you have updated pictures? The other chick is also a mix.

If mom is barred and dad is not any barred chicks are males

More specific age would help. If it's 3 months, maybe boy? But if it's 4, I vote girl. Maybe it's my eyes, but I don't see saddle feathers, which should be there by 4 months.

Photos of 4-month-old Brahma cockerel and pullets attached. The girls were about a month away from laying in this pic, but their combs were as pink as your bird's.
