Cockerel or Pullet?

Thank you! Do you say she could start laying real soon because her comb is such a vibrant red? Or is there some other way to tell? I can't wait to get my first egg!

I am not familiar witht he breed to comment on it other than its tail looks like a pullet. The comb looks a bit big but that again, it might be normal that this breed for a pullet. I am used to breeds with smaller combs on hens. BUT on the topic of cockerals crowing- i just butchered two roosters this week that were 26 weeks old and never crowed. My third rooster i kept and he only started crowing last week at 25 weeks old. My little banties on the other hand have been crowing since about 10 weeks old.

Yup, her comb, and her age. Pullets usually start laying around the 20 week mark -- some earlier, some later. My EEs started at 19 weeks.
